The Greer Music Library is named in honor of Jesse Greer (1896-1970), a prolific song writer especially active in the 1930's. He composed music for several movies as well as for shows. The music library is actively seeking and acquiring copies of his music, with over 130 items currently in the collection. The titles have been cataloged and are findable now through OneSearch, the library's online catalog. As titles fall into public domain, they will be digitized and added to the Digital Commons repository.
