OER and Digital Accessibility

Digital accessibility ensures that everyone has equal access to learning. Digital materials should be compatible with assistive technologies. It is to the benefit of all learners to create OER that provide 

  • multiple means of engagement
  • multiple means of representation
  • multiple means of action and expression

SCULPT

SCULPT is a simple way to communicate some basic principles of digital accessibility and a starting point to shape inclusive practices. Anyone can use the SCULPT acronym to develop their own approach to digital accessibility.
