There are three primary options for accessing library content remotely. None of these require use of the Fortinet VPN.
Starting your research from the resources available on the Library Homepage or in OneSearch will ensure full access to all of Conn's resources whether on campus or off. If you are off campus you will prompted to login with your CC credentials, once authenticated you will have full access.
Note: off campus access is restricted to current students, faculty and staff only.
Connecticut College is a member of the OpenAthens federation. This allows us to link our CC login system to many publisher websites. Look for Institutional Login, Sign In, or OpenAthens then search for Connecticut College from the list of institutions. If the college has a subscription you will then be able to login and access the material.
LibKey Nomad is a browser extension that can be quickly added to most web browsers. Once installed you will be able to access articles available through institutional subscriptions anywhere on the web, including on Wikipedia and scholarly publisher's websites.
