Where to Search

OneSearch

OneSearch is the library's discovery platform. Here you will find library resources for books, articles, media and more. Below are brief video tutorials to help navigate using OneSearch.

Google Scholar

Google Scholar is a search engine designed to find scholarly literature like articles, books, dissertations, and other academic resources. It  provides links to other works that have cited a particular article, which can be helpful for exploring related research and building a research network. Google Scholar works best when it is configure to link directly to the full-text of articles available through Connecticut College subscriptions. Instructions for setting that up are available here.

WorldCat

WorldCat is a catalog of books and other materials in libraries worldwide. Use this database to search for books outside of Connecticut College library. You can then directly request the item through Interlibrary Loan. Instruction for doing that are here.
